INTRODUCTION
The District Attorney’s Office created the Public Integrity Division to ensure that elected and appointed officials, and their subordinates, fulfill their legally mandated duties in a lawful, ethical and professional manner.

The division reviews complaints alleging criminal misconduct, prosecutes crimes committed by public officials in the course of their official duties.

The Public Integrity Division’s ultimate goal is to increase the public’s level of confidence in its elected and appointed officials.

If you have evidence of criminal misconduct by a public official or employee, please send your complaint in writing to:

LIMITATIONS

As mentioned in the Introduction, this Division is primarily for investigating criminal complaints. As such, complaints for misconduct must go through the proper channels of Internal Affairs or its equivalent in the respective department. The Public Integrity Division reserves the right to redirect any complaints to the respective department Internal Affairs. If an individual has filed a complaint to a department and does not feel satisfied with the results, they may bring this forward to the Public Integrity Division for review.

Department reporting information: FORM AND FILING INFORMATION

Citizens are requested to use the attached PDF and either email to the Public Integrity Division or mail to the Los Santos County District Attorney’s Office. Citizens are allowed to submit forms anonymously if they so choose, but must understand if we are not able to ask follow-up questions, we may not be able to handle a full investigation.

All complaints must be in writing and must contain some proof of criminal misconduct (this includes Corruption of Public Duty. Complaints will not be taken over the phone.
